I'm legit concerned about this girl on fb.

She has lost per 30 lbs recently, which in itself seems great. She talks about how she used slim fast bars to lose weight and got down to 120 lbs by putting her body into "shock" with only 600 cals a day. She also posted that she never feels skinny enough. Seems like an ED, right?

Um, yes. Not good. The only "shock" she's going to put her body in is that which shuts down her metabolism.

This girl has always been an attention whore, so I agree with the attention thing. She looks unhealthy at this point.

ED for sure. She does not realize what she is doing to her body and how bad this is going to be in the long run for her metabolism.

I never post on ML but had to respond to this one. This is an ED in the works, if it isn't full blown already. You don't say how tall she is (if you even know) but overall, 120 lbs is a pretty slim weight for a woman of average height and definitely underweight for a taller woman. If she continues to lose weight she will damage her health and wreck her metabolism. ED's are complicated and are an indicator of a bigger problem. It's not about food. Food is the means of control when you feel out of control otherwise. She needs to get help before she gets worse. This is not a path she wants to go down.

And it'll be funny when she's shocked when she gains it all back and THEN some the moment she decides she's going to allow herself to eat like a regular human being.
