I know it's not ideal. But, my dad has been eating like shit since my mom died (like, hungry man frozen dinners). And I always make too much food. So, I want to save my leftovers and deliver to him 1x week.
How should I store them in the freezer to maximize both freshness and freezer space?

Cool in the fridge first, which minimized ice crystals. I like to back things in freezer bags, if I can, so I can squeeze out as much air as possible. Otherwise I wrap in plastic wrap and then in foil. Be sure to label everything.
