I just got my bike settled in for tomorrow's race. Parlee TT with full Dura-ace Di2 and Hed Jet wheels (5 on the front, 7 on the back). I flatted on my ride this morning, so I hope I got rid of any bad mojo. It's going to be a flat, but hot ride tomorrow!

I had to hang her from the bars because she wouldn't reach the ground the other way!

Yup! I have IMLP and the 70.3 World Championship stickers on there, as well as the one for tomorrow. They're the stickers from my race numbers, but I put the numbers on the seat tube.

Thanks! It was a tough race. Very flat and no shade (80+ degrees). I'm happy with my swim and bike, but not my run so much. I'll write a report when I get home. Oh, and I missed a spot to the 70.3 Worlds by ONE PERSON!!! Bummer!

Do you get on a list for worlds, and if someone drops out, they take the next on the list? Or is it pretty much a done deal once they claim the spots at the awards?

You have to claim the spot there. If the age group winners don't claim them, then they roll down to others in the AG. One spot kept rolling and they finally asked if anyone in the AG wanted it. Three of us jumped up, but the one woman was faster than me, so she got it. She was really excited, though, and it was the first time she'd qualified (I went in 2012), so I couldn't be too disappointed.

My cousin got fifth in her age group. that was with an 8:54 half marathon pace. 55-59 age group.
