First question, have we picked out a house so then I can start planning a nursery? The answer is NO.
Okay, but really, I don't really want fancy crib bedding. I want crisp white linens and green walls. I'm guessing a green to match the knobs.
ETA: Just looked up the crib I want. Jenny Lind white and it appears that me thinking that a fitted sheet over the crib mattress would be enough bedding isn't right. At least a bed skirt would be necessary.

That is super cool. My friend did that with a dresser of similar style. I love that shabby chic look and would have loved to diy something like that as well, but I don't think my baby boy would have appreciated it
I think you should get a tiny chandelier and paint it white and hang it in the room. It would go really nicely with that!

Very pretty! Can't wait to the finished room, whenever you get to put it together.
For Maisy's dresser, I bought similar knobs, only clear. I also didn't want to buy traditional bedding this time around, and I went the route of white sheets and an unpattered bumper. My mom made the bed skirt (along with the window treatments and the cushions for a rocker we refinished). I was so much happier with how it turned out compared to what was available store bought in the look I was going for.
