Not much is happening really.  It's looking like it's going to be a cold, grey, drippy kind of wintry week around here.  But I battled the winter blahs with one of my husband's favorite soups for dinner (Amish potato soup with dumplings) and I added one of my favorites (no-bake strawberry cheesecake) for a semi-special meal.

QOTD:  I'm really, truly, and unreasonably excited for the premiere of Major Crimes.  Flynn & Provenza are some of my favorite tv characters ever and I was counting down and refreshing my email every minute or so until the iTunes notification appeared that the episode was ready for download.  So I have something to watch while DH is watching Beatles retrospectives tonight.  And I've saved the last episode of NCIS (the one with Ralph Waite's character's funeral) for later this week.  I know I'm going to cry, but even so I'm looking forward to it.

Hi!

So glad it's Tuesday! Worked out with a friend this morning, and now I'm at work, just getting through the day. Tonight we'll watch a few episodes of House of Cards!

QOTD: looking forward to a very relaxing weekend ahead! No plans on Friday and DH leaves for a work trip on Sat so thinking about getting a pedicure!

My work week is 60% over! Yay!

QOTD: Today I heard about an interesting new expat role coming up...it is probably too soon though. I'm excited and hopeful anyway.
