Ditto habs. I don't think this tour has generated quite the publicity she was hoping for. I remember her Blonde Ambition Tour, when she was all over the magazines and newspapers before she even landed on US soil. She was positively massive back then. Now? Meh. Thrown in a failed album and walla, stunts of desperation.
This from a woman who reportedly has a DNA Sterilization team clean-up after her on tour because she doesn't want to be cloned. She's all kinds of crazy in her older age.
"I still want to be relevant! Someone PLEASE NOTICE MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!"
For some reason, this all kind of reminds me of Helen Mirren (sp?). Madonna could take a note from her. She's pushing the envelope because she's gorgeous, elegant, successful, and not trying to act like a fucking 25 year old.
I hope I'm not the only one on this board who thinks she's kind of awesome. My above love letter would look pretty silly I guess.
You mean Queen Helen of Fanfuckingtastica? (I know we've got other T.Lo fans here)

What's this you say? I need to know more about this, including your source.
You can google and you'll get a bunch of hits, who knows if it's true, but it's reported/alleged:
Madonna has set up a ''sterilization team'' to wipe away any DNA in her dressing room after shows on her MDNA world tour.
The 53-year-old has also told organizers only her and her entourage are allowed backstage passes.
Concert promoter Álvaro Ramos, who is overseeing the Portuguese leg of the concert dates revealed her demands.
Speaking at a press conference, he said: ''We have to take extreme care, like I have never seen for any other artist. We cannot even look at the dressing room, after it is ready, or even open the door.
''We can only enter after her sterilization team has left the room. There will not be any of Madonna's DNA, any hair, or anything. They will clean up everything. In the end it is all to protect her and make her feel comfortable.
''I do understand it, but it is taken to extremes.''
Madonna's other demands in the past have included ordering a new toilet seat at every venue.
The singer will play at the Coimbra City Stadium in Portugal, where the dressing rooms will be converted by her own staff.
Álvaro added: ''Her team will build everything for her, including fake ceilings and fake walls, so they can ensure that no one has hidden a camera somewhere.''
Last night, a source close to Madonna said: ''She is a perfectionist, and expects the best. But then, at her age and with her status, why shouldn't she?''
I loved me some Madonna back in the day......I had the o ring bracelets, scrunched hair etc...copied her dance moves........but give credit where it's due. Grace Jones was the original. She pushed the envelope way before Madonna, and led the way for everyone... I loved Madonna's music, though. God, I was an ass in the 80s.
Immaculate Collection was amazeballs. I don't think there is one bad song on that whole album.
Granted, I have not followed Madonna's career as closely as others, but has she ever put out another album that even came close to IC?
Immaculate Collection was a collection of greatest hits, so that's an unfair bar, ya know?
But I prefer her 90s and 00s stuff to the 80s, and I'm an 80s baby.
Agree re: the 90s and 00s music. Immaculate Collection is OK but I never listen to it because that's the stuff that gets played on the radio all the time. Ray of Light, Music, and Confessions are just so much more interesting.
And as long as I'm outing myself as a Madonna geek, her live albums have some excellent arrangements. The singing has clearly been redone for the sake of the album but the remixes of many of the songs are solid.
I listened to her new album on Spotify. It's flat out terrible. She is too old to sing lyrics that juvenile set to music that weak.
I agree with everything being said here, Mission accomplished Madonna, we are talking about you. I have been to all of her concerts and while I enjoy some of her new music (and all of her old music), I seriously think she needs to hang it up. She has had a great music career and will go down in pop star history. She needs to leave on a high and focus on other things like making her wacko movies and writing books. It's time to bow out gracefully and find something else to do.
I don't think she should bow out. I just think homegirl needs to get better at this shiit and put focus on the music and the dancing instead of copping out by going for the shock factor.
