Culture taken. Blood taken to make sure I don't have a massive infection since I'm feeling bad. Ultrasound to check to make sure it's not a deep abscess

Update: ultrasound showed fluid. They can't tell if it's in a bowel loop or if it's an abscess. Waiting for a cat scan now.

Yuck, that really sucks. I hope they're able to figure it out and that it's a really quick, easy and painless fix.

Phew. No surgery needed. No abscess. DR thinks its mrsa. she was really worried. Me too. Getting antibiotic ointment and oral antibiotics. She said its a nasty place to get an infection. It can spread into the abdomen.

I'm relieved too. The dr was very relieved too. I have to keep a close eye on it and if anything changes or doesn't get better, I have strict instructions to go back.
