Hello! It was errand day at my house. I had to send some flowers to DH's BFF, and then I met with the travel agent about flights for the cruise, ran by the PO to send some stuff, and then grocery shopping. Other than that I napped until time for dinner (the lily pollen at the florist triggered an allergy attack. )
QOTD: I'm not really sure, but I think reading a little each day, even if it's only a paragraph or a page. I think everyone should read something for pleasure every day.
Edited to add to my answer: Meal Planning. It is so much easier to keep to a budget and know what you're eating, if you plan your meals. I plan a week at a time, but growing up my mother always planned a month at a time. No matter how you do it, it's good to have a plan, and a flexible plan at that -- for both budgetary reasons and for reducing waste.
Happy Wednesday! I'm mostly lounging around the house today. I've been up since 5h30 and every time I try to lay down for a nap the phone rings, or the mailman buzzes, or the baby cries...I've decided that the universe does not want me to nap, so coffee it is!
QOTD: Tidying up after themselves. Instead of leaving things lying about, just pick them up as you go. At least, that is the good habit I would like to pick up.

Morning! :-)
I'm happy it's Wednesday and almost the weekend. I don't know why, but this week feels so long! Almost there :-)
Not much going on today! I have Zumba tonight, and then I'm meeting a friend for late dinner :-)
QOTD: This is a hard question....I think everyone should have a habit of taking 5 minutes to stop and appreciate every single thing in their life. Sometimes I'm envious of others, but then I stop and look and how lucky I am in my life, and that helps a lot!
Planning to go shopping and hoping that I can find some new shorts here in Brazil that will fit my generous posterior. It will probably end in tears.
QOTD: Wear sunscreen every day. You never know when you'll end up outside in the sun for longer than you expected, so find an easy-to-apply dry-touch sunblock and put it on in the morning just in case.
Not much going on for me today. H is in China so I'm just doing my best to hold down the fort. I worked all day, then spent an hour trying (successfully) to make DD eat her veggies. After she went to bed I worked more. Blah. Now I'm trying to wind down enough to go to sleep. It was one of those rushed around, high stress? emotion? I don't have the right word days where you feel exhausted, but still feel a rush of adrenaline at the end of the day and can't settle down.
QOTD: I like the sunblock one. I'm tempted to ditto that. Another one is that I think people should exercise. Not necessarily lift heavy weights at the gym or run marathons or anything, but even walking or yoga or something to stay reasonably active. It is sad to me when people are inactive for long enough that they suddenly realize that they can't do a lot of things that they once could. ::Hops off of exercise soap box::

Hey there, Not a lot to report. Just working per usual. There have been some issues with the work server crashing so that has been fun. Not.
QOTD: This is a really good question and it's one that I kind of need to think about. I agree that people should learn to appreciate life even when it isn't perfect, to learn to be happy with who they are, where they are and what they have. I also think that people should stay in the habit of continuing to learn new things, to spend time thinking and to challenge their own beliefs sometimes even as adults - sort of like the exercise comment but for the mind as well.
Update: I hate shorts. Why are women with big butts not supposed to wear shorts ever? I wish Levi's made Supreme Curve shorts.
I did find a pair that kinda fit. They're a weird style that I would never have chosen, but the Brazilian shop girl chucked them into my dressing room and they sucked less than everything else I tried today.
