Oh, FastHands. Remember the no air conditioning in my home thing? Well, I'm managing. There are lots of lovely trees just outside my bedroom window, so the room stays relatively cool. But DH claims he "sleeps cold" and doesn't want all the windows open at night or the ceiling fan on. I am a furnace, meanwhile, regardless of the temperature outside. I get to keep the window closest to my side of the bed open and that's it. Meanwhile, DH is still sleeping with a duvet AND a thin blanket over him. WTH?
He is not my favorite person right now.
ETA: but the baby and pregnancy, etc. are all great.

EFF THAT!! Dude, open the damn windows! For 1, he can always put on more clothes, blankets. 2, he gets a freaking vote when he's carrying the child! Heeeeellllllll to the no.
15+5 here. Had my first OB appt Friday. Everything went great and it was so nice to talk to him. He said I'll go every 3 weeks right now with an u/s at each. Both babies are sitting low and were laying back to back. Baby B was already beating up on Baby A 18 weeks is next appt, then 21 weeks is Anatomy scan. They're measuring a week apart right now but he said it's normal and they'll just keep a watch to make sure it doesn't get further.
I feel great. I've been trying to get back into exercising but full of excuses. I've been starting to work on the nursery which is my favorite part.
Nothing new to report. I've been exhausted this week, so I'm back to taking naps after I get home from work. I hope this elusive second tri energy I keep hearing about kicks in soon.
My anatomy scan is one week from tomorrow and I can't wait. I feel like I'll finally be able to relax and just enjoy being pregnant after we see that the baby is healthy. And finding out the gender will be fun too
22w5d. I can't believe how quickly this is going. I spent so much of this pregnancy worried that it was going to end, that I avoided thinking about it as much as possible. Which was good for my sanity, but holy shit, I am having a BABY in 121 days.
I got so distracted by the a/c story that I forgot to actually update.
I'm 27 weeks today! I know there are differing opinions on this, but I'm calling it third tri! It also means that baby has > 90% chance of survival in the event of preterm labor. I am loving the shit out of those odds!
I have an appt this afternoon. I know I didn't gain nearly as much this month as last, so hopefully we can avoid more warnings about GD. Though I'll have my test in a week or so anyway so there won't be any wondering.

30 weeks and change here. We signed escrow papers yesterday, and now we're just waiting for the sellers to sign and then we close on Wednesday next week! Hopefully they'll be all moved out and we can get the keys that day and enjoy our home. We won't be officially moved in until the following weekend, but we have a bunch of stuff planned to get it ready (cleaning, deliveries, maintenance, etc) so it won't be too bad. I just want to be there already! And, I have to say that I'm super excited that my house has AC. Which is super weird for being in the PNW, since AC is fairly uncommon in homes up here.
Baby is getting BIG. I don't remember being this big with DD at this time. I'm sure it's just my imagination, but I don't know how I'll fare with just getting bigger! But he's a wiggly boy, and loves when I eat. He also loves moving for his daddy - it's so cute. DH will talk to the belly, and baby will start wiggling all over. It's adorable.
Also - has anyone heard from orangeglow? She's been kind of MIA lately. Thinking about you, girl!
They put me on phenergan. So instead of nausea, dry heaving, diarrhea and vomiting (rinse, repeat). I am now sleeping 16-20 hours a day and can't really do anything (so tired).

((hugs)) orangeglow! Hope you start feeling better soon!
13w3d! We told the rest of our friends and family after our appt last Thurs and then announced on Facebook on Monday! I also went maternity clothes shopping over the weekend and then again yesterday! Yesterday was with my step mom...her and my dad wanted to buy me some clothes (mainly a dress for my brother's wedding at the end of this month) but we ended up getting quite a bit more (dress, two pairs of leggings, shorts, and 3 blouses!)! Other than that, I'm still exhausted all the time and having daily evening morning sickness. Hoping a get the elusive 2nd tri awesomeness sometime soon as well!
Oh, and DH and I leave for vacation on Sunday...only a couple more hours of work and I'm off until June 23rd!
Waiting on a call back about my results from my lab work on Wednesday. I left a message yesterday. My doctor is leaving after today so I don't think they have been very organized up there this week. Hoping to get my first appointment scheduled today as well.
Edit: Everything looks good Nurse will be calling me back with appointment time.
So I was supposed to see my regular gyn yesterday (I rotate through the staff, but this was my primary while doing testing etc), but I guess she extended her maternity leave or something. This chick walks in and she's like "Hiiiii fasty, great to meet you, I'm Brittany." It was just a progress check so nbd but in my head I was like "wtf? Brittany? Arrrre yoooou a doctor... np? Pa? Random homeless person?" Lol. It was weird.
I Only gained a lb (EFF YEAH) since last month. Baby is measuring spot on or a bit small, so GD is less of a worry than last time when they were like "yeah you probably have it." Lol. I go to 2 week appts and have the glucose test at my next one, soooo we'll know for sure soon enough!
I'm 12 weeks tomorrow. I have my old pregnant lady appt (perinatologist) on Monday to do the NT scan and MaterniT21 test. I get so anxious before each appt and US. I'm still super nervous about something going wrong with the pregnancy. I think I'll relax a little once I get to the midpoint.

I have naturally low BP, but before all of my early appointments, it was like off-the-charts high. After the NT scan, it was back to at least normal-person levels, lol. Hoping your appt goes well tomorrow and you can breathe a little easier!

Thanks mama. Just left the perinatologist and both babies were wiggling around nicely and both had nice thin nuchal translucency so that made me so relieved! I'll be seeing the perinatologist every 4 weeks and my doc every 4 weeks so I'm thinking of alternating them so that I get to see the babies every couple of weeks

I totally would do this! You may not get u/s's at all of your ob appts, but I bet you will at the peri. Glad you had great results!

That's what a friend of mine did. I haven't had to see the peri yet but I get an ultrasound at each OB appt and right now they are every 3 weeks. I don't think I could survive without one each month

My OB already told me she would do one at each visit. When she had me schedule my second appt at 10 weeks, I expressed surprise that I was coming back so soon and she said "Don't you want to see the babies?!" Yes, yes I do
Also, did I tell y'all she's retiring from OB practice on Dec 1st and my due date is Dec 28th. She was so upset that she would miss the delivery that she arranged to be on call for me after her retirement date. She said it's me and one other patient that she's doing that for and then she's done. Isn't that sweet?!
