I have all the books I could need, and what more could I need than books? I shall only engage in commerce if books are the coin. -- Catherynne M. Valente
Question: Can there really be spoilers in a historical show?
Well I am more wondering how closely they are going to follow the actual history?
Mostly because how they did it isn't consistent with the history and if they are at that point they skipped a lot of the story so I can't figure out how much they are going to embellish the series?
I know I probably sound obnoxious but I'm a total history nerd, flame if you must
Aha, yeah, I'm in the middle of season one and I'm already like "Machiavelli wouldn't have been that old, and he didn't work for Piero. Savonarola was skinny. The word sprezzatura hadn't been coined yet. Maps like that didn't exist for another 50 years."
I try not to be an asshole about it, because of course the show is going to deviate a bit!
