I dont think so. Mine's only ~8 but the vet has already said he wouldn't deal with them surgically unless the grew so large or in such a position as to affect quality of life ... Eg, affected the dog's ability to eat or walk or such. Right now she only has one, but it's pretty big @ 2+inches, but on a flank where she doesnt even notice it. I had a cat with a ton of them and he lived a long full life oblivious to them. My answer would be different if it fatty tumor (lipoma, I think it's called) were causing discomfort.
I'm so glad you were able to have it removed. We had to let one of our senior dachsies go in April when a tumor in his chest (in an area that wasn't easily operable, unfortunately) got so large that it started to cause him obvious pain. I didn't want to say anything, since it's obviously a downer and I didn't want you to go into this even more worried.
