Thanks. Have you started baby proofing the house? Our cpr instructor said it should be done once the baby can sit up.

I am having an unproportionally "YOU AREN'T THE BOSS OF ME!" reaction. It doesn't help that she has been on our case about this since he was born. I wrote her back and said we probably won't do it for a few more weeks. I actually had been planning on putting some outlet covers on before she came to visit this weekend but now I'm not. Hi, I'm 13.

Eh, a little annoying, but not that obnoxious. I find my mom to be a super over-worrier re: the baby's safety.

we were lazy baby proofers and did things as needed. though we did anchor things right away and covered outlets.

I would do the same thing. But keep in mind I tighten my dogs collar (not really tight I just usually keep it super loose) before my MIL comes over because she always feels to see if it is too tight like I am trying to choke my dog who I am abnormally obsessed with. So I am probably not the best to take advice on not being passive aggressive.

In your face MIL! For all of my mom's faults, she has figured out how to not push my buttons in the me being a mom department.


SMACE, clearly the CPR instructor knows more than I do about baby proofing.
