We saw this opening night. Sold out theatre. Absolutely hysterical!! So much better than 21, too. Definitely recommend this if you're looking for a comedy

I watched 21 Jump Street only because he was good looking.  Needless to say, I was surprised at how often I laughed at the movie too.  I'm glad you ladies like 22 jump street--I may convince DH to go see it.

I had very low expectations going in, and the first act of the movie was a little slow. But then it really picked up and I LOLed many times I think it was better than the first one, but DH disagreed because he liked that the first movie had more references to the TV show.

I saw this last week while at my conference. Only a couple of people wanted to go initially, but I was in need of a mindless movie break and heard great reviews. I convinced everyone in my group to go and we were non-stop laughing for the whole movie. Then throughout the week, all my friends kept quoting our favorite scenes and thanking me for organizing.

I agree that it was better than the 1st. I particularly loved all the film nerd references. You know Jonah Hill had a fun time writing this one.

The scene where Jenko was jumping down the walkways all parkour-ish, I whispered "He's like SpiderMan!!" all fan-girl excitedly to DH, and two seconds later Schmidt was crying out "I can't do that, I'm not SpiderMan!"

Nailed it.

I thought it was very funny, definitely on par with the first one (I'm not sure I'd say better though).

And judging by the closing credits sequence, I'm guessing that they've closed the door on a 3rd movie which makes me sad
