Nothing too exciting today. I'll go to the gym in an hour, then while I'm waiting for a delivery, I'll be weeding, doing laundry and writing notes for my next paper. Wahoo. If the weather holds, I have a co-ed softball game tonight.
QOTD: I've never been on one or tried out for one. I don't think there is one that I'd do as I'm horrible with trivia and they seem to be the ones that are on in England.

Good afternoon!
It's Tuesday, so midweek for us, but otherwise, not too exciting! :-P Tonight I'm taking a friend to a local Turkish restaurant. She's never been so it will be fun to introduce her to this place and the delicious food :-)
QOTD: Nope, no game shows! I'm not sure if I'd be good on any of them. I've heard Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune auditions are difficult, and I feel like I might be good on the Price is Right, but I'm slightly out of touch with what things cost in America these days! So I don't think there are any I would try out for.

Hello!
Back in Lux after a long two week vacation in Spain visiting the in-laws. Went to playgroup this morning so we will chill here this afternoon. My house is a complete disaster but I am playing on the computer. Yeah for nap time
Hi there, the weather is really hot here. I don't have much exciting news, just working and getting my car serviced.
QOTD: I participated in some sort of game show for Nickelodeon at some point. It was something like Double Dare. I was part of a massive group of kids on one of the shows. I haven't given much thought to participating in game shows. Price Is Right does look like fun but I'm not that wild about most of the prizes and I'm not sure I'd go out of my way to participate.

Late to my own post.
Yesterday was supposed to be a pretty easy day, but it ended up involving walking back & forth to the grocery twice -- the first time for eggs and while I was there I did my weekly shop and the second time was because even though it was on my list, I forgot to get the cheese I needed for the night's dinner -- yellow rice & bean burritos with homemade salsa. And in tap class on Monday we did a completely different routine from warm-ups to drills, to beginning a new dance routine and my ankles were a bit sore, a good kind of sore, but still, I was a bit stiff for the walks. The evening finished with watching a program on David Suchet reflecting on paying Hercule Poirot for 25 years and in an adaptation of every novel & short story. It was really very good.
QOTD: I tried out for the Jeopardy College tournament when I was in college (and got accommodation/admission at Disney World courtesy of Merv Griffin, back when all the testing was done in person not on the computer) but did not make it past the first round of testing. Though Alex Trebek ran my testing session, so I "met" him. I think I would have enjoyed The Price is Right with Bob Barker, but I'm not a big fan of Drew Carey. A college roommate once told me that I was "smart enough to go on Family Feud," but I never really thought I'd do well on that show. I'm much better at trivia shows.
