Here are mine... - Very disappointed in the lack of Parks & Rec recognition - Surprised at all the Downton Abbey love - I wish people would just get over Modern Family so that other actors would get a chance in those categories (NICK OFFERMAN!) - Nice to see Jared Harris get a nod for Mad Men and Giancarlo Esposito for Breaking Bad. - I didn't watch American Horror Story...is it really so Emmy-worthy that it deserved to have the leading number of noms?
I only watch a handful of those shows. But all of the ones I watch, I totally agree with the nominations. Downton Abbey deserves every nomination that it got. In general, the shows on HBO, BBC, and PBS are just getting better and better.

I was surprised that Curb got nominated for Best Comedy. I LOVE the show but last summer's season was just okay. It had good moments but overall, it was the weakest season yet. But I am okay with Larry David getting a best actor nom. He is hilarious always.
I personally think that Modern Family isn't as funny as it once was. And it I can be completely honest, the first season was the best and it has gone considerably downhill since then. I would get through some episodes and not laugh at all or have to force myself to laugh.
I'm also glad Jared Harris got nominated for Mad Men. He was excellent.
My husband said that if Breaking Bad doesn't win best drama he is going to set things on fire.

I'm surprised Game of Thrones got almost NOTHING in the actor/acress categories. I mean, I love Peter Dinklage but there was some great acting on other peoples' parts as well. The Modern Family noms are a little ridiculous -- I like that show, but Ed O'Neill? He's basically just acting like Ed O'Neill all the time. I would have nominated Moriarty for sure for Sherlock, even though he doesn't have much screen time every moment he's on screen is freakin' electric.

Kathy Bates? Really? Over Katey Sagal? Ridiculous. I'm a huge SOA fan and they continue to not get any love. I found the nominations to be pretty boring this year.

I totally agree. But maybe they just can't call anyone a leading actor/actress in that show? I mean, if I was going to assign Peter Dinklage a category it would be Best Actor rather than Best Supporting, not many other characters get more screen time than him... so if he can only make it into the supporting category I can't think who would get the main category.
