No. The after reception party at the bar went on for way too long. I was too buzzed and tired. We both passed out as soon as we hit the bed. We had amazing sex the following night on our first night of the honeymoon though.

Yes.
But the thing I remember most about the wedding night (aside from bobby pin removal and my telling H to GTFO of the bathroom while I showered) was the bed itself. That was maybe the best bed I've ever slept on in my life. So SO comfortable.

No, we had an early afternoon wedding followed by an after party that went until 2am. We didn't even make it home as planned. We passed out on my MILs couch in her basement.

Big fat no. We got back to the hotel late and they had screwed up our room so I had to deal with that. It took all I had to get all my bobby pins out before I passed out.
No, we were way too exhausted but made it up in the morning. I did have enough energy to put on my wedding night nightgown but we passed out in minutes.

We did it the morning of, because we figured we'd be too tired that night. And we were, so instead we used the giant bathtub and had a nice, relaxing bubble bath when we got in for the night, watched tv and fell asleep. It was awesome.
Yes, we did. I would have much preferred to just go to sleep, but it was important to DH that we have sex on our wedding night. I kept saying something like "Would you please hurry up and get this over with?!" Very romantic.
Um, yeah, this was my DH and I too. He actually left after the reception to get his car washed (like at midnight!) because friends had covered it with silly string, not realizing if we'd left it that way until we came back from the honeymoon, it would have damaged the paint. So it was about 1 when he came back, and he insisted that we had to have sex (even though we'd already been living together for 6 months), and even though we had to get up at 4:30 to get ready for our flight out for our honeymoon.

We did not. DH passed out immediately. But we also slept in a tent that night(which was a huge mistake), so even if he has been conscious I don't think it would've happened.
Nope. H was fighting off a really bad bladder infection. Between his fever and the fresh memory of an STD test, he wanted nothing to do with his penis.

We did, but I would have been happy not to. I was still in the first tri and my morning sickness was just starting to calm down. I was so fucking exhausted but H was ADAMENT about not being "one of those couples that doesn't have sex on their wedding night". I told him to make it quick, and then we passed out.
That kinda makes him sound like a dick. I swear he's not.
Yes...we got married in a pretty remote location. My mom (who planned our wedding) had found us a "romantic getaway" for our wedding night. Well after the reception (we left at midnight) we drove to it (avoiding many animals on the road) & found out it was 25+ miles away the last part was up a scary gravel road. Then once there a 15min hike up a steep gravel path with our stuff back into the forest away (thankfully I changed first so I wasn't in my dress) with a flashlight. And it was a tiny cabin bedroom & bathroom. I know in my moms mind it was romantic, in actuality it was rough. Also I had my period. We were actually physically exhausted (out of breath) and spent...but we still did it. Lol. Then the next day I got sick on the 6hr drive to the airport. Took half my 2 wk Hawaiian honeymoon to recover from that!
Yes, twice actually. Our wedding ended at like 9 pm, and we ate a bunch at our wedding, so I wasn't particularly hungry or tired. We did it once right after the getting to our hotel room (I can't remember if it was before or after taking down my hair). Then we went and hung out with a set of our friends until like 1 am, and did it again before bed.
I was kind of pissed when my mom was pounding on our door at 7am the next morning to say goodbye because they were leaving. (My sister was also hilariously indignant on my behalf and later was telling me how she'd told our mom repeatedly not to do that.)
Very little honeymoon sex though. We were both sick with a really nasty cold, and I was also seasick.

I was sooo drunk that I don't even remember arriving at the hotel after the reception. I passed out in my wedding dress because I couldn't figure out how to take the damn dress off in my alcoholic stupor. The next morning, we could have had sex but some random dude walked into our hotel room (through the adjacent doors) and I was so pissed off at the violation of privacy that we left right then and there. The hotel (known for its glowing reputation) completely shafted us on so many things that various people had PAID for to have delivered to us. No one showed up at the door the entire duration. It was a horrible end to a great party but I cared more about the party than the archaic "must have wedding night sex".

Nope. Giant Polish wedding, lots of booze, plus more booze in the hospitality room at the hotel until 4 am = no sexy time. I passed out in my dress, hair still done, and my H fell asleep on the floor in his tux.
Yes. It was bad obligatory sex that happened quickly. We abstained for about six months leading up to the wedding, so we were ready to get back to business. But we were so freaking exhausted that all we really wanted to do was sleep. We pushed through, had unfun sex, and immediately passed out afterwards.

Nope. We got back to the hotel around 2am, and drunk H immediately passed out. So I had another round of drinks with friends before going back to our room to eat pastries our reception hall packed for us. We more than made up for it on our honeymoon though!
