Do you pee with the door open?

I WFH and when I'm home alone, I don't shut the door to pee. But today, while I was peeing, the UPS guy showed up and banged on my door (we live in an apt).

It got me thinking about what I would do if my landlord just came in while I was peeing. Would I scream? Stand up and run to shut the bathroom door?

He always knocks, so this is an irrational fear.

Yes. The front door is locked. The only things that can see me are the dogs, and IDC about them, lol.

Yes, because if I didn't, my cats would freak out. Well, ok, not completely open, but enough so that they can pop their nosy heads in.

lol...i NEVER shut the door to pee unless someone besides my sister is home (my sister rents a room in my house). When I lived with my XH we hardly ever shut the door to pee.

Oh, I don't shut the door to pee when H is home. He hates it but I don't really care.

Yes, but the bathroom is small so I could close the door if I needed to.

When anyone other than my youngest child is around, I close the door. If it is just me, or just me and my 2 year old, I leave it open.

I go with the door open if I am home alone. Otherwise the cat goes nuts because she can not get to me. Seperation causes some sort of kitty fit. She also must come into the very small closet with me. Because changing clothes with a cat up your ass is a sport.

I usually leave the door open but my dog sometimes follows me and tries to get in my lab.

Yes if it's just me and the kids. I shut it otherwise, I just don't trust them not to destroy the house if I close myself in the bathroom

I never did when I lived alone, but I always do now. I get stage fright if I think people can hear me, even my H.

Before getting a dog, I always closed the door. She figured out how to open it and always comes in, so I just save her the trouble and leave it open when we are alone.

I always close the door but for some strange reason my kids take that as an invitation to try to come in

H and I decided when we moved in together that we didn't want to see each other pee. So we close the door if the other is around.

I usually leave the door open because that's when one of the cats decides that she wants me to pet her.

Closed doors make me nervous. I avoid shutting them completely unless we have guests.

Sometimes I won't even lock the stall in the bathroom at work (I have access to a bathroom that really only gets traffic from myself and my CW, so it's less scandalous than it sounds.

I leave the door open most of the time but I have young kids. If I even attempt to close it, DD1 flips her shit.

My dog has discovered that when I'm on the toilet, I cannot avoid her, so she insists on sitting in front of me to get me to pet her. She will also jump up onto my thighs to lick my face. I have tried the "I don't bother YOU when you potty" trick, but she doesn't seem to understand.

I did when we lived in our apartment because I'd only use the bathroom upstairs. Now I leave the door ajar/open when I'm alone or close it when my fiance is home.

I close the door if we have guests or DH is on the same floor of the house. And that means I have to wait for one of the cats to get in the bathroom before I close the door or he will try to fit under the door.

I close the door if anyone else is in the house. Unless it's only me and my toddler, in which case he I like to listen to what chaos he might be investigating in the 45 seconds it takes me.
