I work full time, have two kids - one school age and one in daycare, and I just enrolled in college (online for the first year)...
I freaking LOVE school supplies, and am looking for the perfect planner to organize myself. I have been to Target and Office Depot, just haven't found the 'right' one yet.
Yes, I realize this is about as dorky as it gets. But I'm excited!! ;D
I used to work for Franklin Covey and still use their products. If there's a store near you, go to the retail store and they'll help you set a planning system up. It's pricey, but IMO totally worth it.
I think they even have June or July start dates so you don't have to buy half a year that's already gone. Their website is dangerous if you're an organization freak like me. Enjoy!

I end up buying two planners per year, because student planners end right in the middle of Summer session II for me. I need to write things down so that I remember them, and putting it in my phone just isn't the same.
and yet, NO MATTER how many outlook/google/apple calendars I use, sync, whatever, my main source of info is my kitchen calendar. It's like, if I don't write it down physically, it doesn't exist (even with the phone reminders a day before).
