So, now that DS is finally eating solids his poo has started to change. I guess I just need to know when I can tell if he is too constipated or not.
I just changed his diaper and the poo was polpable. It was yellow and solid but not hard (I could squish it, I guess kind of like playdough). He didn't seem to be in pain passing it, but I could for sure tell he was pooing.
So, is that constipated poop? Or just normal solids plopable poop? Either way WAY better than scraping/spraying off poopy diaper.
That is what DD's poop has been like since starting solids. Dr said as long as they can poop without a ton of strain and it isn't dry and that she goes at least every 4-5 days, she's good.
I wouldn't worry unless he's straining to get it out or isn't pooping often
J often grunts when he poos and he's definitely not constipated. It never ceases to be hilarious to me and H.
Ha it is kind of hilarious. This was the first time he has ever had to do that and he seemed so confused! He was in the middle of playing then just started grunting and put his head in his hands. Poor guy! Real poo is tough work.

I just read this out loud to DH and we're both cracking up.
