What I wonder if why is Charlie being nice to her and/or liking her? Didn't she just hate her last week or last episode or whatever?

I think Charlie decided to go back to her mom after feeling betrayed by Serena and not liking the world of the upper east siders. She decided that her mom was protecting her all that time.
