It's slightly tender, but not bad. It's itchy. I have one more treatment through the Living Social deal, but if it's not gone, I'll buy more. It was super faded after the first treatment, so I have high hopes. I did fade it with acid though, so it was already faded going in. I'm really happy with the results so far!

What color was it to start with? I have two little blue dolphins on my ankle. I debated having them removed a number of years ago, but I heard that blue and green ink from prior to the mid-90s are really hard to remove. Then I circled back around to liking them again.
The tattoo is mostly green and a tiny bit of yellow with black outline. I had heard that green was hard to get rid of too, but it seems to be going well so far!
There hasn't been any scarring so far, but I've been religious about putting neosporin and bandages on it for protection. I'm really happy about how well it's turning out so far. I'm hoping I only need one more treatment, but I would gladly pay for more if needed.
It looks like my tattoo, but missing bits and much lighter. Which is nice. The stuff below is almost gone and is totally unintelligible. I'll post another pic when it's healed up from this session.
ETA: H is really impressed at how quickly it's coming off. He's an enginerd, so this kind of thing fascinates him.

Wow. 2 treatments? My mom got a tatoo in Mexico this spring and has had 5 treatments I think. It has hardly done a thing to remove it though! The dermatologist is not sure what's going on with it and I guess has never had one not fade.
Mountain girl, did she try to fade it first? I used this acid stuff - trichloroacetic acid, the brand name is Nuviderm, and it faded pretty well first. It was much more painful and the aftereffects were much scabbier and grosser, but it did the job. And it was pretty cheap. I think that's why it's faded so much after only two laser treatments.
