First thoughts about the cast?

I don't really like the whole "2 HOHs"/"Battle of the Block" twist, but there are a lot of really likeable contestants this year.  So far, my favorites are Christine, Derrick, Donnie, and Nicole.  I wouldn't be sad if Joey, Victoria, Paola, and Zack leave soon.

Paola gets on my nerves though.

I sort of like the twist, but I hate how they waited until the first HOH was crowned to say what the twist was going to be. I don't think it's fair when they do crap like that.

Too many people for me to form opinions yet except I can't stand Devon.

I'm also not too fond of Caleb. His and Devon's crazy obsession with Donny being some mastermind ex-military --- ummm?

I was a fan of Joey, but she is now gone. I do like Derrick and Donny. I already cannot stand Devin and Caleb.

I like some people in the cast, but I'm just not that into it. I think I could read the live feed summaries and not watch the show.

If I could pick a final five, I'd say Derrick, Christine, Donny, Hayden, and Nicole. I think it's going to be boring if the Bomb Squad rolls. I want Devin out ASAP.

I don't love the new twist but can live with it and it does add another element to the game. I do not like devin or zach. I like Donny, christine, frankie and liked joey. I'm just eh about caleb.

I wouldn't mind if all the girls and creepy Caleb left.

I'd like to see Brittany, Amber, Jocasta, and Victoria go. Then probably Caleb and Christine and Nicole. The latter two have been way more annoying than I thought. I figured I'd like them.

I could see Derrick/Cody final two.

I can actually picture a Derrick/Zach/Frankie final three. I think Cody will come in fourth. If they let Donny go too far, he will win as he is very likeable.

I also would be totally fine if all the girls were voted out first.

I think Donny will be cut in a few weeks. It seems like he's making it too easy to put him up. He's an easy nominee because there's no consequence.

I am hoping Amber or Caleb goes this week, then they should pick off the do-nothings that add nothing to the show: Jocasta and Victoria. They're stereotypes, not game players.

I'd like to see Derrick and Zack as final two, maybe Cody third.

Christine and Nicole are players I thought I'd like, but now they're just ok.

Let the game actually begin now! Last night was a good show - I wish we had 2 live shows a week from here on out.

I should have watched the live feeds to see how things went down, Nicole was fired up! Zach did have me laughing, he was basically Tigger from the time Jacosta was voted out until the show ended. BOING! BOING! BOING! all over the house. He's a pain in the ass and totally annoying, but he's fun to watch. His Roses are red speech was so good.

I am wondering how a player might make it back into the house from Jury and I look forward to seeing who the new HOHs put up.

Well, I think Derrick has pretty much won the season. He has a final two with Cody, Victoria's in his pocket, and Frankie trusts him more than anyone in the house. I don't see how it turns around. Frankie put up Zach. I see Frankie and Christine being the next to go. Hope Cody with his "nothing" game doesn't win. Maybe Caleb could be final two.

It seems like Zach is taking being put up and being sent home too meekly at least so far. I don't even know if it'd matter if he came back in the house via a twist. Nicole might be a better bet to shake things up even though I like Zach better. I don't want Zach to do well if it means Frankie does, too. (I could see Z aligning with Frankie even after he put him on the block to be evicted).

It seems like guys this season aren't acting normal. I am shocked that Cody is cuddling with Christine---that can't be a popular move in the real world. Same with Caleb's obsession with Amber and his followup comments about Nicole's friend Mariah and then Ariana Grande. Dude seems desperate. Not a good look for either Caleb or Cody.

Derrick's the best player and should win. Just hope he doesn't bring along that idiot Victoria.

I think Derrick has the game in the bag unless the others get wise and backdoor him soon. I am OK if he wins because he is playing a very good game.

I'm ok with Derrick winning. He played the best game by far. It's not even close. I just don't want him to drag a loser or a lump with it. (loser-Victoria, lump-Cody)

I definitely do not want Zach to be the one to come back in the house if he's only going to make up Frankie and get out Derrick. If Derrick's gone, Frankie will win, and that will stink because they gave him every advantage Elissa-style due to being Ariana's brother.

I wish I could root for Donny, but his game has big holes in it. He's on the right track with seeing how Derrick's running the show, but it may be too late.

Derrick could even survive being put on the block because he has the numbers (unless of course his own ally put him up).

Sigh---Wed., August 20 Donny talked to Christine, making all these great points about her low place in the pecking order. I think he wanted to save Zach but knew it wasn't possible. He just wanted to make plans going forward.

Within minutes, she was spilling everything to Cody. I think if I were her husband, I'd file. No joke. It's Michelle the scientist all over again.

Well, this season sure has gone downhill. I was sad when Zach left and didn't win his way back on. What a dumb competition to win a place back in the house. I think millions of people would've simultaneously groaned if Jocasta would've made it back in.

Cody won HOH, Nicole and Donny are up, one of them will leave. Snooze. They actually played the Brigade game perfectly. Derrick has Victoria in his pocket, Cody has Christine, and it seems like Caleb to a lesser extent is tight with Frankie. Dumb Victoria might be the Gina Marie of this season and end up final three or even two.

I think they will get rid of Donny before Nicole. victoria is the worst. I can't believe they have let her skate through to this far. She is never featured in any episode which makes me think she is doing pretty much nothing.

Derrick pretty much has this game locked up unless they get smart and vote him out.

Once Zach left I stopped caring as much. Victoria is so dull. I do like Frankie, Cody, Derrick, and Caleb --- but they're more boring without Zach.

This is what I realize happens every season. Once my favorite player is gone, there's no reason to watch. That's actually a reason America should have a say in who stays. Who do we want to watch?

Tonight's episode was very boring.  I rarely remember Victoria is even on the show.

There was a brief time where Caleb considered putting up Frankie, but it passed. Sigh.

I am hoping hoping hoping that Frankie won't win HOH next week because his best move would be taking out Derrick and becoming the alpha. I hope he doesn't see that.
