I'm 10-15 minutes H works in Newcastle so his is anything from 20 minutes to 2 hours. Luckily he doesn't work bankers hours to its rare that he's stuck in traffic.
Mine is kinda nuts. It takes me just under 2 hours to get to work and another 2 hours to get "home" (ie to daycare to pick up G). I leave home at 5:35 to meet my vanpool at 5:45, catch the 6:20 ferry, and get to my office a few minutes before 7:30am. I leave my office at 3:45 to get to the vanpool by 3:50, catch the 4:40 ferry, and am at daycare ~5:45pm.
DH drives ~35-40 minutes to his office, but pretty much no traffic (Kitsap county reverse commute).
15 mintues if I didn't have to go to daycare. With dropping off/picking up E, 30-45 minutes in the morning and 45-60 minutes at night including the time I'm at daycare. Same with going back to my old job. This is another reason I'm considering canceling the other interview I have b/c it will add a lot to my commute.
H is 20-30 minutes in the morning, 30-45 minutes in the evening.
Me: usually about an hour door to desk both ways. I drive to a park & ride and take a bus to downtown Seattle. We start daycare at the end of this month which will add some time.
H: He starts work at home in the morning and then drives to his first appointment, which can be anywhere from 1-60 minutes away.
Tomorrow will be my first day at the new job, so I'm not positive but I'm pretty sure it'll be close to 40-60 minute commute. Most likely that our a little longer on the way home. H is the same.

Thank you! I am hoping to find a faster back road way, becayse 405 sucks, but I think I will try that way tomorrow, just because I know that way and don't want to be late.

remind me where you're starting/ending? H and I are the masters of back road options
Oh, I'd appreciate it! I am starting in Monroe, going to Kirkland (the waterfront area, to be exact). One of my new coworkers told me about some back-road, but it was information overload at that point and I didn't retain it at all.
Mine: 30 minutes including drop off/pick up both ways. I'm also doing the revere Kitsap commute. H: Leaves at 6:40 to catch bus. Takes 7:05 ferry. Arrives in Seattle at 7:40. Walks to work and gets there around 8. For the way home it's about the same but on the 5:30 ferry and he walks in the door at 6:30. Lately the ferries have 10-20 minutes late due to tourists so that sucks.
