Who's been to Tulum and where did you stay? Bonus points for on the beach, and with a pool and has someone who will bring you food and drinks on the beach. Oh and not a ton of kids (or no kids)-we're leaving DD at home.
H and I want to go for 4-5 nights in August for a little late anniversary/pre-new babies trip and we've decided Tulum is our best bet. We're not resort people. We like small, boutique hotels and it seem Tulum is the place to find that within a reasonable distance from Cancun.
I was thinking maybe no more than $300ish/night, I think but a little more for an amazing place is fine too, lol.
And any other recs for things to see/do/eat would be great. Keep in mind I'll be about 20ish weeks pregnant with twins at the time.
We stayed at Cabanas Tulum a few years ago, small boutique hotel right on the beach. It also had a pool and a Restaurant on site. At the time, it included a free breakfast.
You are close to the ruins and the biosphere. We rode bikes into town, it was a trek and it was the most uncomfortable bike seat I've ever sat on LOL (again it was many years ago) not sure id try it in your condition
