I've been there before and I remember there were families there with older kids (5+) but we want to take DS and he is only 16 months old. There will be stuff for him to eat on the salad bar but is it poor etiquette to take someone his age to a restaurant like that? (He is well behaved)
That's fine. We took 18mo DS to a similar place for our anniversary and he loved it and was pretty well behaved. He loved that the waiter filled his sippy cup with water.
We took DD to Texas de Brazil at roughly the same age - we went early (I think our reservation was 5:15 or 5:30) and didn't dawdle. It was just fine, she enjoy watching everyone and munched off of our plates. I'd actually be more hesitant to take her now, at 2, even though she's generally very well behaved in restaurants. There's just too much distraction there!

We went at 5pm with a 4 year old and a 10 month old at it was fine. DH and I feel like if we go early (when the girls are hungry) they really are good in restaurants, and finding food at Fogo wasn't hard.
As long as they don't charge you the full $30 or whatever!
They don't, kids under 5 are free
It is a really good deal if you kid will eat a bunch of filet and lamb like my DS will. We have been 3 times with him and it is always great because there is a lot to keep his attention, tons of different things for him to try, and you don't have to wait for your food. He also loves all the cheeses from the salad bar and all of the sides, especially the fried bananas.
