Has anyone tried them on; it sees the shaft is 17.25" circumference, so I'm thinking my huge calves will fit into them; but since I'm usually between an 8.5 and 9, I think I need a 9. Any advice?!
I bought the Sienna. And have the same dilemma - do I really want the black? I also bought the Frye Phillips harness - which I am pretty sure I am keeping.
The Sienna is very pretty IRL. Very rich looking. I don't know how easily it will scratch. The calf is a little tight on me - I'm pretty "normal" as far as calf size. But with a little effort, it fits. It is rather uncomfortable around the ankle though - needs to be worn in a bit cause of the stiffness. And it bags a little around the ankle - which I don't like. I am still on the fence about keeping them.
Sizing - I am between a 9-10. 10 in most European brands and . 9 or 9.5 in American. I got a 9.5 and it fits fine in the toe area.
I will try them on again in a few minutes and report back if I think of anything else to add.
ETA: Ok yeah - they are tight in the calf but then they gape a little at the top. I don't know. They are very pretty but I am just not sure about them.

I like the sienna. This sounds weird, but they seem more like TB to me than the black. I like both though and don't think you can go wrong.
If the TB's don't work, I really like Duoboots.com. When they run sales around the holidays and at end of season, they have awesome deals. I got two pairs last year and love them both. The shipping is expensive since they come from the UK and tthere's customs too, but they are worth it. The leather is good, they soles are nice, and they really look like a high end boot.
