Anyone been to the Great Wolf Lodge in Williamsburg?

We're looking for an overnight trip for dss.  Any other suggestions?  Within 2 or so hours of Baltimore?

I haven't been but I know people who have and they seem to like it. But it's probably closer to 3+ hours from Baltimore.

You're probably right. It's been a few years since I've been to Williamsburg, I couldn't remember.

You're probably right. It's been a few years since I've been to Williamsburg, I couldn't remember.

It SHOULD be 2 hours to Richmond - but that I don't even trust anymore.  Traffic on 95 always seems to be horrid.  Then Williamsburg is about an hour past that.  

Are you looking for amusement parks?  You could do Dutch Wonderland (a day trip if you want), Seasame Place or Hershey Park

We did Dutch Wonderland last year. We were just trying to do something different.

I think we're also going to try an overnight in DC.  We're not taking him on a big vacation this year, so we were thinking maybe two smaller trips.

There is a family campground type place in Ocean City that my cousins family loves. They call it a camp but I am pretty sure there is a hotel too. I wouldn't attempt Williamsburg in the summer, 95 sucks so much and then OBX traffic too ugh. I have heard good things though about great wolf lodge.

What about the one in the Poconos?  I don't know where you are, but Dutch Wonderland is only 30 mins from me and Poconos is way closer.
