I can't remember if there are others here who are big enough Harry Potter fans to have accounts on Pottermore. Rowling has posted a new story there about Harry, Ron, Hermione, and friends/family. It's written as a gossip column by Rita Skeeter reporting on their arrival at the Quiddich World Cup, which is apparently going on in Patagonia as we speak.
It's not C&P-able, but given current events and discussions over Lean In and similar books/articles, I really love this quote: Hermione "is now tipped to go even higher within the Ministry, and is also mother to son, Hugo, and daughter, Rose. Does Hermione Granger prove that a witch really can have it all?"
They even talked about it on NPR during my drive in today! Amazing what widespread interest Harry Potter has.
I looked back and the epilogue in Deathly Hallows says "19 Years Later." I *think* Harry's first year at Hogwarts was supposedly 1991-1992, which means Deathly Hallows took place in 1997-1998 and the epilogue should be in 2017. So, this Quiddich World Cup news is taking place 3 years before the epilogue, which explains why Skeeter refers to Harry's "young" sons (they'd be around 8-10, I think).
