I love Teen Mom, but it hurts me to see how rude Farrah is to her mom, and everyone else! She's so irritable all the time, no wonder her sister is just like her.
Debra (Farrah's mom) doesn't deserve all that hate from her daughters!
Count me as a sympathizer for Farrah's mom. She loves her little grand-daughter so much and has to endure her daughters' awful attitude. She looks like she's just given up...the way she sat in that restaurant, looking so depressed, it broke my heart.
Ever since her 16 & Pregnant episode, I have HATED Farrah. Hate. But after watching the other night, I really wonder about the other side to her mom. She did punch Farrah in the face a few years ago. And I was surprised about how angry Farrah's sister was as well. I'm thinking there's a lot more to the story, and I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of it contributes to how Farrah turned out.
Completely unrelated, I want to stab my eyes out every time I hear her mom talk to Sophia in that baby voice. OMG STOP.
This! I've always felt bad for the mom because Farrah's such a spoiled, ungrateful bitch but after hearing the sister go off on the mom I wonder the real history is. I think there's a lot more to the story with their upbringing.

I stopped watching Teen Mom a long time ago but I caught a little bit of the wig thing with her mom. I agree there is a lot more going on in this family than we know about. I agree, Farrah does talk disrespectfully towards her mother and her father, and generally acts like a spoiled brat. However, her parents clearly must find it acceptable otherwise they would have put a stop to it a long time ago. Maybe her parents let her talk this way to them because they feel guilty about how they treated her as a child or something. I don't know. But that is one dysfunctional family for sure.

I am not a fan of Farrah's mom. I think she's crazy. But I really thought the girls were completely inappropriate this episode. You can hate your parents, but there's no reason to be disrespectful in the manner they were. And it didn't stop them from using her as a babysitter while they went out and partied. You can't have it both ways.
I think there's a lot the audience doesn't know about that family. I think Debra would drive me crazy, but she isn't perfect either. I can't believe she fell asleep while she was supposed to be watching Sophia! She should have at least tried to get Sophia to take a nap if she was that tired.
Debra and Michael have tried to make Farrah's life as easy as possible and it really bothers me that Farrah seems to take it for granted! But I think Farrah knows that the only reason her parents still help her is because of Sophia, so I think that's where a lot of the attitude comes from. If Sophia wasn't in the picture, I don't think any of them would be trying as much as they do.
Yes, I do. It's clear that this family has a very involved history. But the way that Farrah and her sister treated their mother was disturbing. She was trying to be kind. At lunch, she simply asked the sister Ashley if she had had fun on the trip, and she got a tongue lashing in return, for.no.reason. Plus, you can really see how much Debra loves Sophia. I think Farrah uses that to her advantage, I'm sure she gets financial support from Debra/Michael, they can't help themselves since they feel the need to provide for Sophia.
I don't. You can't demand respect, you need to earn it by being a respectful person. Farrah's sister's rant really had me thinking. She calls her out for not "parenting". That is fairly specific don't you think? Typical bratty daughter attitude would probably just go with " bitch" ( which she did break out later). Farrah was living in her parents house and was getting free daycare and seemed pretty dependent on them. She moved far, far away. I think there is lots more we don't see.
I just saw farrah back in Omaha/council bluffs area Friday night going to new batman movie. Thinking Florida didn't work for her? Saw her get out of car from show too
I dont feel sorry for her because she allowd her to speak to her that way all along .
If I ever spoke to my mother that way, even now as an adult, she would not take it! I was taught to respect my parents so I wouldnt even DREAM of speaking that way to her. ( ummm..I dont think I'd speak that way to anyone for that matter...it is just plain RUDE)
I feel bad for Farrah's mom, but more for Michael. He's treated poorly by Debra, Farrah and even Sophia! You can clearly see how tired he is of both his daughter and his wife.

Not really, because I think there is some major backstory that we are not getting- perhaps an abuse history, alcoholism, I dunno. At any rate, Farrah is a mother now and Sophia is seeing how Farrah treats other people and will model that behavior. The one who ultimately loses here is Sophia.
It's really too bad that Farrah's parents support her so much because she is so ungrateful. I truly cannot stand Farrah. I can see why the girl has NO friends at all.
Oh- and I don't blame Farrah for going off on Debra for pushing the "I'm bringing Sophia back here" issue. I thought that was REALLY inappropriate of Debra.
If anyone caught yesterdays episode, the sister had a lot of play with what was going on, because after she left it was all honky dory in Farrahs world

ITA. I don't know what was going on there... It did all seem very scripted to me though.

I agree with all of this. Also, I know it's wrong but I'm dying to see how Farrah will react when Sophia starts to follow her example and treats her as she treats her mother. I think that then she'll realise what a poor role model she has been all this time.
All I know is I wanted to throatpunch Farrah when she bought that new puppy from Petland after already giving away her last dog because it was too much work. Do you think this puppy is going to be any different? How would you know, considering you did NO research on the type of dog you bought and just bought it on impulse? Infuriating.
I laughed when she got scammed on Craigslist selling her car.
