I've been with Verizon Wireless for a long time. It's a little pricey but I almost never have an issue with connection, and the customer service is good.
I loved in to pay my bill today and saw something about saving money by switching too Verizon Edge. But when I compared plans, all options being equal, I'd pay MORE for Verizon Edge. Am I missing something? Is this worth it?
I'm on an individual plan, 300 minutes, with 250 messages and 2GB data per month.
I think the point of Verizon Edge is to get new phones more frequently - so the price of your new phone is built in to the monthly bill and you can upgrade more often.

My husband did a breakdown, and for us, Verizon Edge is going to save us about $10/month. But that's only because we'll have the discount for having more than 10 GB of data (we let his siblings be on our plan).

I signed up DD & I for this a few months ago and LOVE it. We pay a bit extra but have 10GB of data (DH is still on his old plan) and it's $20/month extra from what we had but we definitely use that much with him out of town for work every other week. We both got the iphone 5S and it's $29/month but you get a credit of $25 so for $48/year plus you pay the tax when you buy the phone it was a great deal for us.
