I'm doing an Olympic tri. I'm undertrained, still battling feet issues, and not optimistic at all, but dammit, I'm going out there. I'm fully expecting a DNF, and I'm ok with that.
My husband!! I'm so freaking proud of him. In our 18 years together i never saw that man put on running shoes - then randomly he started C25K and this weekend is his first 5k!
I'm just doing a nighttime 10k, and my kiddo (2.5) is signed up for the kids race. He keeps asking to "go racing!" with me, but freaked out at the last one and wouldn't run. I'm hoping the time of day for this one will be better.
Love of my life baby boy born 11/11. One and done not by choice; 3 years of TTC yielded 4 MMC and 2 CPs, through 4 IUIs and 2 IVFs. Focusing on making the world a better place instead...and running.
I am doing a local 5K. What is very important is my 15 year old niece is running her first 5K!!! She plays soccer and wanted to improve her fitness by running. She has run up to 2.5 miles. We drove the course last night, had dinner at Panera, and registered. I am picking up our bibs tomorrow for the Sunday race. I don't care how I do, I will be crying while she starts and crying when I cross the finish line and saw that she made it!!

I'm doing a local 5K tomorrow and hoping for a PR, but I've been having a love/hate relationship with running and diet lately so not sure how things will end up. Hoping for the best!

I did a tri this morning. 300yd pool swim, 12.7 mile bike ride 5k run. It went well, happy with my progress on the bike. Running still sucks for me. I'm feeling ready for my sprint tri in September.
