Do you have wooden blocks? or duplos/ megabloks? Crayons, chalk, bath toys, lift-a-flap books. What about play food in a basket instead of a play kitchen? Fridge farm (magnet) or magnetic letters.

I'm trying to make a list right now too and we have similar space restrictions.
I have the parum pum pum drum and a wheelybug ride on toy as the "bigger" toys. I'm also putting a Phil and Ted's travel crib in case any grandparents are feeling generous and simultaneously want to buy her something useful (although the useful thing makes it highly unlikely for my inlaws).
E has a picnic basket our neighbors gave her that she loves to empty and then put everything back in.
Her ikea tunnel is a hit and it collapses down. She actually sometimes sits in it collapsed too.
Busy cube has been hit or miss. She's been more interested in it now vs when she got it at Christmas.
DH was playing with a FP xylophone in target (which led to having to buy it b/c E was obsessed) and she really likes that.
Is is the four key little piano type thing? Because we have that and she's obsessed, lol. She spends half the time playing it and the other half using it as a stool to try to get out of the play yard, haha.
I haven't seen that one. This one is a real xylophone with a mallet and everything.
DH played with it right by E and by the time I came around the aisle I just looked at him and said "you don't think she's going to let you put that back on the shelf, right?"
Yeah, I know you said you live in an apartment and don't have space. So do we and we don't have space either, but dammit I am going to find a wall for the play kitchen.
I had that xylophone when I was a kid. My mom would always hide the stick when the rambunctious kids came over.
If a wagon is a no-go, how about one of those radio flyer 3-in-1 tricycles? I've seen them in target.
Other stuff: Books Kitchen stuff - food, shopping cart Fisher price tea set IKEA tunnel Mega blocks Shape sorters Little people farm, plane, carnival Booster seat to upgrade from a highchair Plate, bowl, silverware set (skip hop is cute) Shoes (see Kai run is on amazon)
Ps i must have missed your post about getting separated. I'm sorry.
Books Blocks - wooden to stack and duplo or mega blocks Stacking cups Maracas or other instruments Play cell phone Magna doodle little people farm shape sorter pull toys corn popper vacuum or other push thing Pull back cars like this
We have one of these. Kids LOVE it. I keep it folded up under the sofa 99% of the time, so its very apartment compatible and is like a new toy every time we pull it out.
