Were you cool with belly sleeping as long as they rolled there themselves?
Violet didn't roll until 9 or 10 months so this is new to me. Ruby can't quite roll to her belly, but she gets really close. If she falls asleep on the floor she is always in the side/"almost rolled" position so I know she prefers to sleep that way. We want to transition her out of the rock and play and into the co sleeper or pack n play...should we unswaddle her (she's body only right now) so she's able to roll?
Is deswaddling and sleeping flat too much to do at once? FWIW she sleeps flat for naps all the time. She often will take her naps on the floor.
What about the Snuza? Is it okay for belly sleepers? Is it time to get the angel care?

Where's what's her face, miss my body is failing me for not conceiving the first cycle before my baby turns 1 so let me blog about it for the bump, with all her "data" on tummy sleeping? Jeffsjamie or whatever.

I'd go with whatever works, honestly. Theo hated being swaddled and the minute we started him in his crib, he slept on his side just like Ruby is in the picture. He still sleeps on his side, snuggling his lovey. I was okay with in since he got himself into that position and could get out of it.
I'd probably do swaddled first since that seems to be working, and if that didn't seem to go well, unswaddled.

B started rolling - actually thumping his leg and kind of flipping himself over onto his belly when he was pretty young, maybe 8-10 weeks? He couldn't roll back the other way though, as it seemed like it only happened because he liked to kick his legs and he'd actually get upset if it happened when he was awake. I was slightly paranoid about it (FTM) so I always flipped him to his back whenever I found him like that, but I didn't really try to fight it. We unswaddled B around the same age since he was starting daycare and they wouldn't swaddle. Naps seemed the most affected by unswaddling, night-time remained virtually the same.
Luke sleeps like that in his own crib. He isn't rolling yet. I don't have any of the monitors you mentioned (just a video one). He seems to be just fine. Oh. He's unswaddled but will sometimes be in a sleep sack.

He put Ari on his belly for naps before he could roll. He had rolled belly to back a few times but it wasn't super consistent. I think we started at 4 months. He had great head control and we used the Angel care so I was cool it with. It was seriously the only way he would nap in his crib.

Oh and we did sleep flat first then deswaddle a few weeks later. We did a slow transition of one arm out and then the other and finally both out and it worked out great.
We had deswaddled by 12 weeks so before he would nap on his belly.
Once I moved them out of the rock n play I swaddled with arms out. I never put them down on their bellies but if they rolled that way I wouldn't move them. It worked well enough for Abby & Sam, and it's Caroline's first night in her crib but so far so good.
I always put him down on his back, but if he rolled himself I didn't move him. Then again my kid maybe slept in his own bed less than ten times from 3 months to a year, so I'm probably not the best advice giver, lol.
I would do it as long as I was using either the snuza or the angelcare
I'm interested to hear how it goes. William is sleeping so well but he's still fully swaddled in the rock n play so I dread changing anything because I enjoy sleep
James slept on his belly (without being able to roll) from about 3 months. We used the Angel Care. Julia refuses to sleep in the crib, but even she sleeps on her belly now in the bed next to me. She can lift her head and move it side to side so although it worries me, I still do it so that we can both sleep. I read that the reason babies sleep so well on their bellies is because it inhibits the startle reflex which often wakes babies up. But swaddling does the exact same thing. I realize I'm not doing the ideal thing, but we both need to sleep!
