I don't know why this is making me so sentimental

Since I had to take one of the cats to the E-vet I don't have like any "fun" money for the rest of my life (that is obviously an exaggeration, but that unexpected $2000 hurt) and could not go to a concert I had previously been pretty excited about going to tonight. My friend offered to front for me, but I hate feeling like I owe anyone so I declined.

Around midnight I got a call from said friend. They held up their phone for the entire set so I could hear it. I kept thinking about how I managed to deserve such an awesome friend and got all weepy.

It's been one of those nights. This is a pointless post, but I felt like I needed to write it out.

Awww that's super sweet of your friend to give you a ring during the set. I had a friend do that for me a long, long time ago (It was probably a BSB concert LOL) and I was crying the whole time. Good, thoughtful friends are hard to come by. What concert was it (if I can ask)?

Is your cat okay though? Hope so. Sucks you had to spend so much money that unexpectedly. That always stings.

Chuchi has been at the vet since Wesnesday and *hopefully* will be able to come home today. He had a urinary blockage that made his kidneys freak out and they've been trying to get his renal values to stabilize. Our other Siamese cat has been inconsolable, wandering around the house "crying" really loudly at all times of the day/night so I'm crossing my fingers everything works out lol
