And yet lifting weights STILL doesn't burn any calories
It does - it's under strength training. Just not a lot. But anyone who lifts knows it's not about calorie burn but about burning that darn fat and building muscles!

wambam, I get you. I've just started Stronglifts after some weight lifting on machines and I love it way more than cardio (though I do a bit of it). I use the TDEE method anyway so I can ignore MFP's idiocy around calories.

Dangerously low calorie levels, demonization of fat, cardiocardiocardio. The list goes on and on.

wambam - I despair every time I read the forums. So much "you don't know me" going on there when trying to explain why they need to eat 900 calories so they don't gain weight. I like my food- I'm eating as much as I can and still losing weight (slowly).
