Train from Vancouver to Seattle

Is the route scenic? I'm trying to decide if we should take the evening train to maximize our sightseeing time in Seattle or the morning train and enjoy the view.

I took the opposite route - Seattle to Vancouver and it was breathtakingly gorgeous along the coast. I'd imagine the reverse route would be the same, but can't say for sure.

I've done Seattle to Portland - and it was quite scenic, so I would imagine Vancouver-Seattle would be even more so. However, in my book more time in Seattle would win out - there's so much to do!

We've done it both ways. The sunset coming down was so pretty.

It's beautiful, right along the water for much of the trip!

Yes, I agree, very scenic, we just got back from our trip to Seattle, Vancouver, Victoria and Whistler. The drive from Vancouver to Whistler, however; is one of the most beautiful drives of my life.

Thanks, everyone! We decided to do the evening train Vancouver to Seattle and then another train from Seattle to Portland rather than renting a car.
