There was a question that I wanted to post today on behalf of a friend but I didn't post it because I thought there was too much personal info that could come through in responses
Could we maybe set up a code to put in post titles to indicate to mods that it should be deleted after a certain time period if possible? The one that came to mind -- which is maybe lame -- is TMWSD (for "this message will self-destruct") and then maybe in the post itself the poster could indicate when mods should delete it after? I would have been okay with the post sticking around for an hour, but didn't want it there for posterity.
Or maybe there's some other workaround.
I really wanted to post something work-related but didn't for the same reasons.

An easier option is probably just to indicate in your post that you will delete it later, and then when you're ready to delete it click the 'report to mod' link and ask them to DD it. That would be easier on the mods than having them keep up with what to delete and when.
