It definitely saves me money, and I don't have to carry 12-pks of seltzer from the store. I do go through it quickly, but it's so easy to make more it's not a problem for me.

Does it save money? I figure after buying the machine itself and also what I would need to make the seltzer, I could buy probably 80-100 bottles of seltzer?!
It is slightly less expensive than buying seltzer at the store, yes. However, I mostly appreciate not having to lug bottles home and then create so much plastic for recycling all the time.
H uses it. It doesn't seem to last all that only but I think he carbonates more then they recommended. I also think that all the soda tastes gross and artificial. However, either Coke or Pepsi (I can't remember which) plans on releasing their own syrups for it so maybe those would taste better.
The only syrup we use is the energy drink (so much cheaper than Red Bull for mixers). Otherwise it's just pain seltzer or I'll add some lime juice to it.
