The Summary is that an old coworker (whose husband works with my dad which is how I get the stuff) has been handing down clothes for babylefty, her son is two months older than him and quite a bit bigger (she just texted me that he has outgrown most 6 month clothing!) She sends me enough stuff to fully clothe him without buying anything. I want to do something nice for her, I was thinking about buying her older daughter and son an outfit and sending her a sbux gift card. If someone has a better idea let me know, otherwise about what size do 2 year old girls wear?
Also babylefty has started smiling at me when I talk to him. My heart is officially melted.
I'll post pics in a separate post. I think that's where things went wrong before lol.

37 weeks, 4 days, 1 Leela butt.
Baby girl is wiggling around like crazy lately. I thought I was having contractions yesterday but it turned out she was just karate chopping my insides.

mrslefty I love the idea of doing something nice for your frolleague! Maybe a Target gift card so she can replenish the baby's wardrobe as he outgrows it? (Or can buy whatever else she might need.)
first picture is bjl climbing into my suitcase. she was having a lot of fun popping out of it--that is my mom closing the lid on her.
the second photo is me wearing my boy..i'm using the same carrier that MIL used to carry h in when he was a baby. we're looking for a pic now of the old carrier, so we can do side by side!
boy is almost 9 mos, bjl is 29 mos. we should have our 9mo appt soon..nothing new to report, really.
i got a new RS carrier a friend of mine recommended. i'm not sure i loooooove it, but i do love the convenience of it. it will make grocery store trips much easier than ergo-life, but not good for long distance. i still need to learn how to use it better, too.
fun story: we went to canada last weekend, and bjl loooooooves her cousin (h's cousin's kids)..it's so cute watching them play. while we were walking, she insisted on holding hands with cousin, and refused to hold moms hand. too cute. love them.
Lets see M is 3 1/2 and J is going to be 7 months in a couple day. I can't believe that.
No real milestones for either. J is getting better at sitting up for longer periods of time but isn't crawling yet. She just barrel rolls around on the floor to get where she wants.
Last purchase was for M's 1/2 bday party this weekend. I'm kind of excited but also kind of ready for it to be over. Not sure if we will keep up with the half birthdays due to the holiday real birthdays or not.
Heres a picture of all the girls in the house from the 4th. Including butt and head of big red hound.

No pictures today, maybe later. My face isn't presentable.
35w4d here, and just trying to hang onto the baby. I feel like I'm contracting more, and OB is predicting an 'early' delivery... Not sure how early. I'll be happy if I make it to 38 weeks, but I'd like to make it to at least the first week of August. Work wants me to hold him in until the 18th of August... yeah, not sure that's happening.
Had a bit of drama last night, but I wrote it up on the main Seattle page, if you're interested. Both J and I are in a pissy mood from all work and no play. So... fun times.
M is doing really well... just a growing, talking, playing almost-3-year-old. She went pee and poop in the potty on Monday, and I'm hoping that's a sign of better things to come - where I don't have two kids in diapers. She's supposed to be headed up to Bham to stay with ILs for a week (to give J and I a Babymoon of sorts), but that may fall through since MIL apparently has shoulder bursitis or something. So we'll see how it goes.
