Do you guys wear eyeliner or do you use powder to line your lashes? Any reason you use one over the other? Do you do anything under eye to keep it from running down your face?
I use eyeliner and only have problems with it running when I'm using a pencil that doesn't work well with my oily skin. Urban Decay's 24/7 pencils are my go-to because they never run.
I use both. Usually it just has to do with the color options. I have shadows that I often use wet as a tightliner when I'm using that color. I also have a stash of pencil liners that I use. For me, e/s wet is better if I want a really thin line, liner pencils I use if I want a smudgy or thicker line.
I use a waterproof pencil most of the time because I normally tight line as opposed to traditional lining.
I sometimes line underneath with a coppery pencil, sometimes nothing. I do wear powder all over generally.
I stopped wearing concealer under my eyes because it was causing pore blockages, but creamier concealer seems to be the biggest cause of raccoon eyes for me too.
On a regular work day I don't normally line my lower lash line but when I do, I put some eye primer down there...plus all over my lid. I'll use a really light hand with a pencil and then smudge it out with some eyeshadow.
For my upper lash line I typically use a liquid liner, but the Urban Decay 24/7 pencils do work well with my oily skin/lids. Sometimes I use an eyeshadow to "set" my liner if I'm using a pencil.

Both. On the top I use pencil eyeliner with powder eye shadow over it, to "set" it. On the bottom I use only powder. I been doing it this way for many years. I have never had my eyeliner run. Is that something that happens with liquid eyeliners? I can work out or swim in mine and it pretty much stays put even after the rest of my face has melted.
I use liner always on my top lid and always use powder on my bottom lit. It's gives a softer look on the bottom and it's easier to smudge out so you don't have the straight line.
Eyeliner everyday. I use Tarte's waterproof clay liner on top. It doesn't smudge on me. I use a eye primer and foundation primer which helps. For my lower lid I use UD 24/7 liners or a Laura Mercier pencil liner that doesn't budge.
Gel eye liner on top for a bold look OR some wet eye shadow for a thin line and then the same shadow applied dry over the top with a smudge brush for a soft line that has staying power.
I almost never use eye liner on my lower lash line because it tends to age me or make me look ill, but I occasionally gently press a line of shadow in.

I typically use liquid eyeliner because I like that it lasts all day without running. I have really dry skin, so most make up stays put. If you have issues with liners running, you might want to try an eye shadow primer before you put on your liner. I like MAC's paint pots as a primer, but you can buy a primer from almost any make up brand.
I will use shadows as liners on occasion, but it's mostly for color impact and I still use my liquid liner with it.
both but prefer to wet my eye shadow to apply as liner. This way it stays all day for now. I also like the look of that line better than a pencil which tends to smudge or fade during the day.
Sometimes (lots) I'm just lazy and use a pencil though, LOL.

I don't wear makeup all the time but when I do I use waterproof liquid eyeliners. Everything else will either melt or smudge and I've tried that UD potion primer stuff.
