I may be the last person in the world to admit this, but I haven't read it.
Is it really just "meek reporter girl gets shown the ways of the dungeon by high-powered bossy man"?
...because that's been done before. And (from the looks of this trailer) better.
It's really just sex scene followed by sex scene followed by sex scene. There is basically no plot.
Should I admit to reading it in installments as a fan fiction? It was much better in that format! Because then you weren't really reading it for the story per say, lol.
I think Dakota Johnson was a good cast but the guy...idk, he's not who I pictured. He's not mysterious or intense enough or something, lol. I liked the suggestion of Ian Somerhalder much better!
The book was a guilty pleasure, despite the wretched writing that included gems like "my inner goddess was doing calypso moves" or whatever. I thought it was great porn. I'll definitely be watching it, but not in a theater. I'd be too self-conscious.

I would go to the theater on a Tuesday at 11 a.m. to see it. Then it would just be me and the blue-hairs.
I once read that RPatz smelled bad, which has sort of ruined him for me. And his nose is weirdly child-like.
RPatz as the vampire Edward Cullen is yummy. RPatz as himself walking down the street often looks like a homeless dude. I'm not surprised to hear that he smells
Are the books any different from the pdf? I kind of want to read them (I never read what I think would be the third book which is after they get married?) but I'm friendly with my local librarian and I don't want to see her reaction when I check them out. And I don't think they're worth spending money on, lol.
I have a thing for guys who look like they might not smell very good. It's a problem. I'm over RPattz, though, haven't seen enough dirty hobo pics of him recently, I guess.
"This prick is asking for someone here to bring him to task Somebody give me some dirt on this vacuous mass so we can at last unmask him I'll pull the trigger on it, someone load the gun and cock it While we were all watching, he got Washington in his pocket."

I know I shouldn't ask but can someone give the cliff notes version on the "tampon scene"? Obviously I never read it but I can not figure out how a tampon could ever be sexy. Ever.

i thought the porn was too fluffy. lol
but judging how my fav ff was butchered into a series, i am just convinced you cant actually sell the type of stuff i like to read through normal channels.
Which ff did you like but the series was butchered? Just curious if it's one I've read I went through a major FF phase at one point.

Clipped Wings and Inked Armor. Two books of the same name and it was horrible. i am so glad i have the original PDF.
I read this one! I kind of liked it but I wasn't crazy about how suicidal the characters were. Did she try to turn it into a book too?
Did you ever read the one where Bella is a teacher and Edward is a 17 yo student and they meet at a museum? I remember reading that she took that offline to turn into a book. I was surprised because I was kind of squicked out by the set up. I can't see that becoming a mainstream hit.

I tried that one but it was NMS. I love the BB series though, the original was fun and the book was good but the original fiction they wrote after that are really fun. Definitely lighter though and not nearly as dark as CW&IA so probably too fluffy for you

Me too. I've never been into the vampire ones though. They're so off the wall. I've read a few Bella/Jacob ones that were pretty hot. My favorite B/E was one where they were both high school students and he got in trouble for sexual assault (wrongly convicted of course, lol) and then the judged gave him some crazy sentence where he wasn't allowed to touch any girls? Did you read that one? I remember reading that the author based it on a real life case that she read about. I stopped read after a while though because she stopped updating frequently.

If I was nice I would track down a picture of Reality Bites Ethan Hawke.
You can just smell the dirty hair during the sex scene on the sleeper sofa.
I first typed "pull-out couch," but, well.
ETA: even better, a shot from a performance by Hey, That's My Bike.
i really want to have a GTG with CEPers to go see this, but its on valentines day. who would want to spend valentines day in the movies with me watching this POS?
We could always wait until the weekend after V-day or the weekend after that. There's no way I want to go see it on opening day, because I'd be laughing through the whole thing and I wouldn't want to piss off someone and possibly get shot in the theater...

I did start that one, like you when the writer stopped updating regularly I lost interest though. I still love LolaShoe's series (it's a vampire one but she wraps up the story so much better then BD) and Beautiful Bastard (as I mentioned above the book version is pretty good)

Does LolaShoe still write? I started to read the one you're talking about and then she took all her stories offline. I didn't know if she was just done with ff or if she was trying to sell them or what. She's a great writer though. I read a few of her one chapter stories and they were great.
