Sometimes I go in and get him right away (like if we have to be somewhere) and sometimes I let him go for a bit. If I'm really lucky he talks to himself for a bit then goes back to sleep. Like this morning. So awesome.

This is all making me jealous. My kid wakes up screaming. No babbling and lazing around in bed for us. When do we get him? THE SECOND HE WAKES UP SCREAMING.

Oh and, it is 99% of the time before 6 am.
Ahhhh Ok I needed to vent.
Carry on with your happy morning babies.
I will join you with the jealousy. DS has always woken screaming. Now that he is 2.5 he wakes up and immediately starts crying 'I want mommy. I want daddy.'

Dd loves babbling and talking to her buddies in her crib, she can easily do this for 45 mins, if we go too early she shakes her head no, our cue is when she stands up and looks out of the crib to the door
