Poor DS, 22 months has heat rash along his legs were in diaper meets this thighs and his privates. He was sick last week with his fever breaking on Tuesday and the rash appearing in Thursday. Plus it was super hot here.
I'm using, per my mom and pharmacist, baby powder with corn starch to keep the area as dry as possible and loose clothing or just shirt had a diaper, but I don't feel like it's improving,
It doesn't really seem to bother him, but the area, especially legs, looks angry. Any suggestions? And when would you call the pedi about it?

I'd lay off the cornstarch if it's looking worse. If it's yeast the cornstarch will feed the rash not clear it up.
Diaper free time & baking soda baths are the way to go. If you aren't sure if it's just heat rash or (maybe) yeast, you can apply Lotrimin AF along with a zinc diaper cream. It certainly will not hurt.
