Does anyone have a trusted recipe that can be made ahead and frozen? I'm taking a meal to a friend who just had a baby. I want to give them the option to eat it that day or pop it in the freezer. I only have a couple options in my collection of recipes and I'm tired of them all. I don't usually make a recipe for someone else until I've tried it myself but I don't have time to do a trial run first. Any suggestions?
I like to make pulled pork, because it freezes well and tastes great leftoever. Throw in some coleslaw, a bag of chips, hamburger buns and dessert and you have a great meal for new moms.

This is a great full meal idea! Thanks!
No problem! It's become my "go-to" new parent meal, because SO many people bring lasagna/stuffed shells/manicotti. I'm making it for a friend next week actually.
onceamonthmom.com/menus/whole-foods/ The whole site is freezer meals, but I have found the "whole foods" recipes fantastic (and lacking in "cream of crap" soup, salad dressings, etc). I made the May 2012 menu and have liked every single thing we've tried so far.
