Yes.
I used it for 3.5 months. I would have used it longer but she was trying to sit up and roll over in it.
I only used it at night.
One of my favorite parts was the rocking function, I rocked her to sleep in it most nights.
The only downside I can think of is that it caused a bald ring around the back of her head from the rubbing, and it may have contributed to a slightly flat head.
I needed it. We bought one when K was only a few days old and it was a life saver. She would hang out in it during the day and slept in it for the first 3.5 months. She hated sleeping in the crib/pack n play when she was a newborn.
It's my baby's bed at night and for some naps. We also pull it up to the table at dinner time so she's there with us. Love it so much! It also folds up easy and travels with us in the car.
LOVE it. Wish we had had it with J, but both the other kids have been amazing sleepers in it. I just do nights in it and try to get them sleeping flat for naps during the day where length of nap doesn't matter so much. We used it for 5 months with Anna.

Did you start using it right away? I think I suffered through almost 3 weeks before I bought it at 10:30pm one night when I was feeling like death. And omg, boom, she slept. I mean she didn't magically self soothe, put herself to sleep or STTN, but once she was asleep and in it she would stay asleep. She was so strictly "must sleep in arms or on boob" until we got the RnP.
How long did you use it? Around 4.5/5 months. Basically when her legs got strong enough that she was trying to launch herself out of the top.
Why is it so awesome/not awesome? It's awesome because of the incline, how compact it is(compared to crib, PnP, and most bassinets) so it didn't take up much room next to the bed.
Did they sleep in it at night? Or just during the day? Only at night. Naps were in the swing or on the boppy.
I will disclose that she had reflux, so I'm sure that's a part of why it made such a difference for her.
I used it until around 9 months with L instead of the crib.
E uses it as well. She either sleeps in that or the swing day/night. We have the one that vibrates and it is genius. I like it because I can tote it around to different places in the house easily . If it is on a hard surface and she's awake her movement also rocks herself, which is soothing to them.
We used it from the start and she slept great in it. We never used anything else though so hard to tell if that was the reason for her great sleeping or not. She slept in it at night and for some naps, but most naps were on me or in her swing.
Ari wouldn't sleep flat until 8ish weeks when we transitioned him to his crib. He had bad reflux and once the meds kicked in I think that made sleeping a lot easier.
He mostly napped on me in the early days. Occasionally in his rocker but almost never in the rnp. He slept so well in the rnp at night though. I kept trying to transition him to the pnp and it was always such a major fail. We eventually just gave up on the pnp.
They look so comfy, but we never used one. The con of not using one could be a lack of convenience, especially post labor and birth. The pro of not using one is that you could potentially not face the difficulty of transitioning from RNP to crib.

I only had it with DD and I don't think it's a coincidence she was my best sleeper. I had it right next to my bed and I could just reach over barely awake and give her back her paci or rock her unless I knew it had been 3 or so hours since she last ate. With the boys I had to actually get out of bed to take care of them MOTN so I always would just feed them back to sleep. I think I created my own monsters with them.
Worth every cent! We used it for about 4 months and it was a life saver! I could reach over in the motn and rock him back to sleep. It's perfect for travel. We put him in it while we ate dinner an one of us would rock it with our foot.
William was in it from the start, except a few times I would try him in the cosleeper and he would sleep 2 hours stretches. Then in the rock n play he sleeps 6 hours. He has slept 8 a few times. Soooo yes, I use the rnp every night.
the only downside is having to wean them to a flat surface. For matilda I believe it was a couple nights of extra crappy sleep then she was back to normal-ish. Totally worth it for the four months of good sleep. I mean then the four month sleep regression happens and youre screwed anyway.
BUT enjoy those newborn days and nights with the wonderful rock n play
I feel everyone needs it I would still be using if J still fit. I used it for probably 8 months since he was so small and because his reflux was so bad. It was also great to travel with, we took it everywhere.
Don't need it. At least I didn't. We borrowed one from a friend and Luke slept it in maybe 5 nights. The other time LS he was in his bassinet or the bed with us.
Emmy liked it for naps at my parents but I wouldn't say it was an essential product for us.

Loco Coco, I think I remember when you posted that deal and now I'm kicking myself I didn't take it. They only have coupon codes for new buyers.. it recognized my address
