I feel like I should do a bit of an intro... I post mostly on MM Moms, but am on this board every now and then and plan to be more active here. We are currently building our dream house (it's in the mechanical stage right now) and I couldn't be more excited about it. I also work for a homebuilder, so I definitely live and breathe this stuff. Anyway, here are a few pics of the current status. Feel free to ask me any questions! And thanks in advance for your feedback on my future posts.
Thanks @bluesky! It's just under 4,700 SF above grade. We aren't finishing the basement now, but plan to do that eventually.
That is one gorgeous house! The scenery isn't half bad either I want to live there! Do you mind sharing what state you are in? When do they expect to be complete?
We are in Maryland and the house should be done by Thanksgiving. We are about to put our current house on the market... It's getting real!
sjh722 - we are doing cobblestone HardiePlank, and camelback stone. We will have a stone water table on all 4 sides, and then the small section of the house between the porch and garage (2 windows across) will have stone all the way up.
HardiePlank - it shows all the colors, but we picked Cobblestone siding with Arctic White trim

Ummmmm I am wondering if you are my neighbor. A house down the street eerily similar to this is in a similar phase right now.
