What do you use for your little girls' hair? I can't do hair clips anymore b/c Blb takes them out and other kids put them in their mouths at daycare. She won't let me do her hair at home and I don't think I have the right kind of rubber band...they are for adults so it take a million twists around and around until they get tight enough and by then she's furious with me.
Do they pull her hair? I have something similar for my own hair but they pull really badly which is why she hates when I put them in. I'm assuming mine are not plastic though. I'll have to check these out. Thanks!

I know this doesn't help but I found some that were thinner and stretchier than the clear ones. But I can't remember where (the non-helpful part) they are colored- clear, pink, navy and lavender. I'm assuming I got them at target or Walmart.
I just make sure to hold the hair close to her head when pulling them out and it doesn't seem to bother her too much.
Mine is gonna be unhelpful too. They look similar to the linked, but smaller, thinner, and with color. Mil bought them in Chinatown in Los Angeles... 2000 for $1. Crazy cheap....but they do break easily. I try to keep about 5 with me when we go out.

Yeah, I use the little Goody clear/colored stretchy plastic ones for M. My MIL doesn't like them because they're 'tight', but it's the only thing that holds her hair at all (she has thin/slippery/silky hair). MIL buys these (and I only use them for color over the plastic ones I use):
We recently switched to more traditional hair elastics now that she doesn't pull them out as much (she has more hair and hates when it's in her eyes so she'll leave them in). But until a few months ago we just went to Target or Walmart and got the pack that's several hundred for a few dollars. The black rubber kind *will not* fall out but they tangle hair pretty badly and are really hard to pull out. We used to use those when we were really concerned with her and other kids eating them. The thin plastic colored kind that others have linked breaks pretty easily when you remove it but stays in well enough and doesn't pull hair. I would try those and see how they work for you. I'll try to leave a few in BLB's cubby for you if I think of it.
