Today was pay day for DH-- yay! But somehow his reimbursements keep getting messed up. I'm not in the business of giving them a loan. They owe us nearly $4k. More than half us from last month, but the rest is from March. Dude, they wouldn't give us an interest free loan.
Typically I won't care, but we are spending a ton of $$& this month with our renovations and I just purchased a new couch and garage door yesterday. I would like to get my $$ back. Everything has been approved. I have no clue what the issue is. Gggrrrrrr!

No suggestions, just sympathy and commiseration. My husband was due more than that for 5 months and actually had forgotten about it. I can't keep track of his work stuff and its been a mess with moving reimbursements. Good luck. Payroll issues suck.
Why hasn't your H talked to the payroll person? If they owe you money from March, they should have an explanation as to why it hasn't been paid.
If teatime's husband is anything like mine (and I've seen a lot of similarities), its because her husband has forgotten or neglected to do some important step in payroll's million step reimbursement procedure.

I think it's a combination of both. In June he says there was a paperwork issue, which is usually code for it was sitting on his desk. But he swore up and down that it was with HR now.
On his to do list, expenses are typically at the bottom. He just forgets and HR has so many rules, etc.

Ha, our husbands continue to be alike....even in the blaming other people excuses.

I hear you and join you. I'm so tired and DH had to work late again. Plus his friends are coming into town tonight. Once I get H out of the tub and in bed I need to finish cleaning. Sigh. At least he's WFH tomorrow and will get up with H.
And he watched 1.5 hours is Sesame Street today because I'm just tired. MOTY. And I'm surfing the web as he plays next to be in the tub: we are together from sun up to sun down. I feel like I need to work on my parenting skills. Blah!

Eeeeh, my husband didn't come home til after 10. A friend came round and we sat outside drinking wine. The kids were still up when my husband came home. Some days you do what you have to do to get through the day.

Poor H is upset I put him to bed and is crying Mama. I'm giving him at least 10 minutes. Wine sounds fabulous right now!
