Erm, I get that you are being TIC, or maybe you don't know what you're talking about, but Orange Julius' s circumstances of are serious and joking about it is kind of insensitive.
I had an u/s Wednesday and my doctor says the baby was 7w2d at that point (I think it should have been 8w) so I am a little worried. He says that this can be very normal, as the u/s could just be off. I will go for another u/s at 11w so we will see what they say then. If I am having any symptoms of a m/c then I will get an u/s earlier.
Thinking about you, lady. I hope everything is fine and you just have a slow grower in there. Either way, hugs. I know this must be hard for you to experience.

I thought her doctor just said she is measuring two weeks ahead and that's why they changed her due date? Am I missing something? Sorry if I said something insensitive orangeglow

Oh you were talking about that part. That makes so much more sense. I thought you were referring to the medical circumstances that will require her to be induced as early as 32 weeks. I was like, "dude, are you seriously saying you're jealous of a medical condition? Cause I'm pretty sure she'd gladly give it to you." Heh. Sorry for that!
And sorry for being all up in your business, Orangey.... I have easily-raised hackles. It's a problem.
MrsAggieFastHands Ladies Ladies! I didn't take it insensitively (is this even a sentence? I hope you know what I mean.). I have other thoughts on my mind. Sorry! I appreciate that MrsAggie probably didn't mean anything rude and probably (if she's like me) doesn't remember all my details.
But thank you Fasty for sticking up for me (necessary or not). It gave me the warm fuzzies!

Just posted in Got Pregnant:
As you may recall, at our 20 week a/s it was discovered that our baby has a hydroneprhonic kidney - which means that it's not developing due to urine backing up and not draining properly. Luckily, it only affected 1 kidney and not both. Today we had our 30 week scan (due to the kidney issue otherwise we wouldn't have another scan) and it looks like the kidney may have some level of function! We won't be sure until after she is born and the kidney can work independently, but it's looking more developed that it did 10 weeks ago!
We also found out that she weighs approximately 3lbs 8oz and is right on target for a 10/11 EDD. We were able to see that she's got cute little back rolls (she's filling out), she's got hair and lots of it (which explains the heartburn lol), and she's practicing breathing.
The best part though was that the Perinatologist (MFM Doctor) allowed our 3.5 yr old to 'assist'. She let her squirt my belly with the ultrasound jelly and then had her sit on her lap and hold the wand while she guided it to what she needed to see. It was so sweet! DD1 has been obsessed with being a Dr for the past several months and when she got to choose what kind of 'potty training' reward she wanted, chose a complete Dr outfit with scrubs, surgical hat & mask, Dr coat and stethoscope.

Totally normal! At my first scan I was 5 or 6 days behind where I thought I should be too - and just today they told me that I'm right on target. I can understand being scared about hearing that news though, especially for those of us who had to spend any amount of time on the TTTC board. Take care of yourself!
Oh and has anyone had heart burn? What does it feel like? Yesterday my throat just felt weird. Like I had acid just sitting back there and I wanted to drink water constantly. It was horrible when I went to bed so I made sure to prop myself up. I woke up in the middle of the night to pee and felt fine and today I haven't had issues. I have no idea what I could have ate to trigger it.
This is exactly what mine feels like. Mine's triggered by anything - even water. I have TUMS constantly now. One bottle by my bed, one in the living room and one in my purse!

Water actually gives me the worst heartburn of all. Lol.
