How do I bold text???

This is the dumbest question, but how do I bold text in posts? I responded to the random poll but couldn't get my responses to be bold. I tried editing it a million times and can't figure it out. Help!

When you reply, there is the menu above the text box. The B all the way to the left is the bold.

I think you have to actually hit "reply" in the top of the box vs the quick reply on the bottom to get the option

Highlight the text that you want bolded, then click the bold button. Alternatively, use [*b]in front and [*/b] after the section that you want bolded, taking out the *.

I tried using that B button and I did it before and after the text and it didn't work. Wtf? I'll keep trying!

This, the quick reply does not have options.

I figured it out. I had to highlight the text after the fact for some reason. Weird. Thanks for the help ladies!
